Core Positions
Document Preparation

Document preparation is the process whereby paper is prepared for scanning in a high quality and productive manner. Document Preparator Operators will ensure that all received paper documents are in clean, good condition before they are scanned. Candidates must be able to work independently.

Job responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

  • Staging and labeling boxes in the proper order by type.
  • Removing files from boxes.
  • Removing staples/paper clips.
  • Repairing torn and dog-eared documents.
  • Re-ordering documents, as necessary (quality and characteristics of documents).
  • Document assessment (value of documents within a file).
  • Creation of file cover or lead sheet.
  • Identifying key indexing fields based on customer requirements.
  • Application of bar code.
  • Tracking of hours spent.
  • Coordination with scanner operator.
  • Cross-train in other areas of business to help out where needed.
Scanning Operator

Document scanning involves the high-quality and productive conversion of paper documents to electronic images. Scanning Operators will scan thousands of client documents every day, ensuring that all documents are accounted for along with cleaning and maintaining their workstations. Candidates must be able to work independently.

Job responsibilities including, but are not limited to:

  • Stages prepped documents to be scanned in proper order.
  • Creates or modifies a scanning project based on customer requirements.
  • Meets production requirements.
  • Maintains acceptable image quality through visual image verification during scanning process.
  • Re-scans poor quality images.
  • Accurately breaks documents at proper point.
  • Cleans and maintains scanner and PC daily.
  • Reconciles document scan counts to document counts from preparation.
  • Cross-train in other areas of business to help out where needed.
Film Media Capture Operator

Film Media Capture Operators will work with specialized equipment to convert microfilm and microfiche documents to digital files. The best candidates will have a strong focus and attention to detail to review jobs for accuracy, quality, and completeness. Candidates must be able to work independently.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Learning and using film capture equipment, software and processes efficiently and proficiently.
  • Validating image quality.
  • Image cropping.
  • Proper handling of film.
  • Capturing metadata.
  • Able to manage multiple jobs and projects.
  • General equipment maintenance.
  • Cross-train in other areas of business to help out where needed.
Quality Control Operator/Finisher

Quality control and finishing involves reviewing and outputting each job per the customers’ requirements. Candidates must be able to work independently.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Speak directly with customers.
  • Responsible for project management of specific jobs.
  • Document level Q/C review at the folder file level.
  • Data entry.
  • Image quality review.
  • Index field review.
  • Review of all batches and boxes for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Validate delivery of data to customers.
  • Cross-train in other areas of business to help out where needed.
